You can't really say that illit copied newjeans because to me it sounds like illit has a dreamcore concept while newjeans has a y2k concept. We also cant judge as they debuted fairly recently and may switch up their sound in the future.

Guys nobody is copying nobody, no group ''owns'' a concept. Y2K and retro concepts are really popular now, we can't expect to NewJeans to be the only one with that concept.
