My 4S works on the 4G network. My old 4 only worked on 3G. I do detect a speed increase in internet related stuff with the 4S.

Thanks for the review, I have an Iphon 4 and was debating on upgrading but it does not look like its worth it to me. The camera and the speed really don't seem to be that much of an improvement. Thanks for saving me a few hundred bro

Hey dude, Awesome video comparison on the 2 device's like this. I to thought about going for the upgrade to the ip4s, But quickly changed my mind and thought about weather i would actually need the minor upgrade's that it offered considering i already have the iP4. I'm going to wait until the next incarnation comes to light, Then make up my mind as weather i am going t ostay with iPhones, Apple need's to step up the features, style, screen, battery, are just a few features i need to see first, Top V

Yeap, i own an Ip4 and was thinking to upgrade to 4S but like u mentioned the upgrades are very marginal..speed also just a little bit faster than the Ip4, guess will wait for ip5? next year?

I don't think anyone gives a crap about if it's "slightly" faster or has a "slightly" better camera. It's not like it's actually gonna make a legit difference. I don't know when the last time was when I actually wanted to use Siri. Personally, I think that the major advantages is:

Iphone 4S:
you can get the latest software updates

Iphone 4: far better battery.

And then obviously the disadvantages are:

Iphone 4S according to my friends it doesn't have good battery at all

Iphone 4 is incompatible with some apps.

I chose iphone 4 because I hate having to plug in so much but that's just my opinion.

What do you think the likelihood of the iPhone 5 coming out in 2012 is? I upgrade in February but dont want to be stuck with a 4s when 6 months later the 5 comes out :-(

There's loads of difference between iPhone 4 and 4s, defo in apps, camera and screen quality! And 3/4 of the time web browsing on 3g :-) if your thinking about getting an iphone 5 tbh there's no different but the better screen, I would get the 4s or keep the phone you have and wait til the 5s is out :-)

siri barely ever works after having the phone around a month, I know 6 people with the iphone 4s; siri stopped recognising their voice after around a week.
The camera on the Iphone 4 is only 5mp, yet it looks a much better&clearer camera than the 4s. In other words; don't waste £200 just for a phone that's a tiny bit faster.

Iphone 4S is not worth upgrading, 4 is just fine :) the difference between 3GS and 4 were much bigger.
