Takeaways from the weekend: Toronto haven't lost a step, snipers are viable and should remain in the game, all the rookies playing well shows there's room for expansion in the league, Seattle looks sick, allycxt a cute, gonna be a great season.

The three things I learned this weekend:
1) these maps are sweaty asf and don’t mix well.
2) Surge have the potential to be what ultra was last year. Very surprising team this weekend.
3) squads spawns are cancer in this game

Was a great tourney. Vanguard still has issues but they seem less when there is actually some cracking games to watch. Makes you think how much criticism they might avoid if they just got the season and hype starting sooner after launch 🤔

People saying they don’t know why pros complain don’t understand that just because the games were mixy and fun to watch, it does not mean that it is a fair, competitive game. The spawns do not reward good play. The TTK is way too fast and and doesn’t allow much escapability. I agree that we should make the most of it but just because it is “fun” to watch doesn’t make it good for competitive. The NFL and NBA could change the game and make it more “fun” but it would effect competitive integrity. Should be a nice balance. If they tried, they could make a good, competitive game that is also fun to watch. IW was good for comp as was BO3 and both were fun to watch. You can have both. That’s why they complain.

The fact that the chat still, after three days, doesn’t understand that the desk analyst aren’t castors is mindblowing. Too many trolls just insulting what has probably been the best desk cdl has had because they think that’s why m&m didn’t get a contract

Don't care what anyone says, Hardpoint and Control in just about every match, was fun to watch.

We heard the pros complaining a lot about Control, but as a spectator it was mixy and fun.

SnD not so much, too many headies on the Vanguard maps which everyone who plays the game probably agrees with.
