I was fortunate enough to not have Super Sonic spoiled for me when I first played Sonic 2 back in the 90's (no internet - no spoilers, lol). When I got all the chaos emeralds for the first time it was only for a personal achievement so imagine my surprise when I had enough rings and just wanted to jump over an obstacle only to see him transform out of nowhere. Some classics never die - I really hope a new Sonic game comes out that doesn't disappoint (A 3D game I mean - like better than generations)

Sonic Advance's 2 Super Transformation is very well done. I always love seeing it.

The Hyper Sonic Transformation is even better in Sonic 3&K. This is quite sad knowing we will never see it again.

Sonic Unleashed made me cry when chip/light gaia stayed underground and died. This game still gives me chills when I hear the boss music since it was my first 3d Sonic game I completed. And I really hope Sega will learn from their mistakes and make a game like or better than the old 3d games like generations, but seeing the failure that was forces we can only hope
