I've seen the monogatari openings, and while I see that their art-styles and Maria Hollic's are by SHAFT, I hardly see the resemblance between them.
The pure ENERGY that is in this song, with that guitar, lyrics and animation are just F***ing amazing IMO!
This is one of my most favorite OPs of all time, and it baffles me that it isn't one of the top 5 anime OPs in the world!
