WHAT ARE MAXIMS OF EQUITY AND ARE THEY PART OF THE NIGERIAN LAWS?

In this video, we explored the maxims of Equity. For now, we concerned ourselves with the definitional scope and conceptual focus of the nature of maxims of Equity. In the course of enthusing upon what the maxims of Equity are, we veered to its history occasionally to draw samples of amplitude to our discourse.

We have been able to establish in this video that Maxims of Equity are part of the Nigerian law and that the Nigerian courts are courts of Equity. We have also been able to lay to rest the old assertion that the standards used by Court of Equity are like the Chancellor's foot: lacking uniformity.
