If I would rewrite this...pwede sigurong byuda si Mhajoy. She's a hands on mom, very independent, determined person na maganda ang flow ng biz sa Faroes. Then tsaka dumating si Nico who would try to fit in her life. She falls but would have a difficult time doing so kasi she has adapted their way of life and ideals. Maraming pwedeng maging center of conflict aside sa infidelity.

I decided to watch this movie because it looks like Through Night and Day (which made me cried a lot) but it turns out disappointing and not really heartwarming. I didnt even shed a single tear for them. This is cheating! And there's no any excuses for cheating. I know she did the right thing in the end to stay with her family but it just shows she didnt have a choice but to stay even that makes her unhappy. No lesson at all. The only good thing is the natural acting of Paolo and Yen kudos to them.

6 days lang nagkainlovan na, pinainom lang ng kalamansi mahal na. I dont like the storyline of this movie, it didn't even justified the reason kung bakit nainlove siya kay Nico while she's married sobrang babaw ng mga pinakita. Tho i like Paolo and Yen's acting here I just dont like the story that normalize infidelity.

Now I see, sa last part ng trailer.... "Nagsimula sila... at switch sila ng place. Si girl ang may pamilya at may anak... si Boy wala so... in real life si boy ang may pamilya at may anak... at si girl ang dalaga at single... so si boy pinili si girl para mag simula sila." Kahit pa may anak na masasaktan basta masaya sila.... eto choice nila ang mag cheat. Sa ngayon yung ang feeling nila masaya sila kahit pa you and me against the world... The KARMA is there mabilis yan.

Did A Faraway Land just subtly glorified cheating just to put value to love at first sight?

I know all forms of love ended well as it was shown in the movie. It showed that true love endures, true love is forgiving.

But, nah forget it. I guess this is just my trauma speaking.
