DeJa Vu, A rework to comply with Youtube guidelines, which the original video apparently did not because I showed the actual video. Thanks for watching (again ;))

Mind blowing that they did not see this coming.

How was the person supposed to stop the ball before the drop? I mean two grown men plus the ball itself must've been at least 150 kg in full speed? Impossible to do anything! Might as well just hold up a STOP sign. Insane!

I can not believe the guy who brought his Zorb ball was just allowed to casually do this and charge people with out testing anything! Thats so messed up

Wow my man’s life was only worth 15k that’s a joke. His family lost way more than that with his potential earnings alone, not to mention his kids have to grow up without their father. Despicable

The fact that somebody died in such an obviously predictable way and the sentence for the responsible party was basically just a firm "don't do that again please" is simply mind-boggling.

Thanks, I was looking for a video that would show the terrain and landscape, aside from the actual video, itself. Quite a sad story but hopefully more lives will be saved with increased safety.

Omg. Putting ppl inside a huge uncontrollable translucent ball, rolling them down an unprotected slope, that ends just by a 4 km (KILOMETER!!) drop down a cliff, and all depends on a single man to stop the ball. And they put paying customers inside without ever testing it unmanned, let alone having the guts to try it themselves. Insane! And the creep got a suspended sentence???

I didn’t know what those balls were called, I always called them giant hamster balls or something. I used to ride them in the school pool at the school fair when I was in primary school. The ball had a rope attached to it because you could barely navigate yourself in the water and also so that the staff could pull you out when your time was up, hella fun still

I remember when this happened. What I did not know was the people in the ball were regular visitors of the ski resort and experienced snow boarders at that. If anyone should have known better it would have been these guys. I always thought it was a couple of tourists that climbed in that zorb.

This is the most stupid and dangerous act I’ve ever heard of.

Brother and I rode in one of these in Branson. I needed chiropractor afterwards. Hated the "ride" instantly and the entire 30 seconds to bottom. Can only imagine the terror of those two young men. I'm surprised either lived.

I can’t believe anyone survived that honestly! 😨 I’m equally surprised by the small punishment, that falls into (accidental) manslaughter territory, but maybe the family weren’t personally interested in pursuing a harsh punishment, everyone responds differently to accidental deaths.

I do feel some pity for the guy that organised this as he had no ill intent. I can’t imagine having to live the rest of your life knowing you killed someone and that their family is left to suffer that loss forever because of you.

Regardless this is an example of why businesses are meant to be government regulated and LICENSED to operate, not everyone is intelligent/intuitive enough to recognise all the safety measures required to operate something like this. Never pay to partake in a high risk activity if the person in charge can’t produce a business license as they simply can’t guarantee your safety, even if they try to claim or naively believe otherwise.

"Good, let's try this in the kid's run." But the kid's run ends before a 1000 foot drop.😢

I thought the end result was going to be two liquified remains found inside a deflated ball at the bottom of the mountain. How the heck one survived and the other didn’t have a closed casket funeral is surprising,

Let's careen a human hamster ball into the abyss down a giant mountain. What could ever go wrong? Absolutely horrific
Editing to say that I wrote "careen into the abyss" before I even watched the video. I can't believe we used the exact same terminology! I guess that's really the best way you could describe such a horrendous tragedy

I remember seeing one of their videos a few years ago. I remember thinking Yeah, that looks safe. Can't imagine how an accident could've happened. Complete f'kn mystery. Who'd a thunk?

That's rough! from the folks trying to have fun, to the fella trying to make it so while earning a few bucks. Awesome idea, very poor planning, tragic.

What’s crazy is this wasn’t even part of the mountain attractions this guy just worked there and brought this thing onto the mountain so anybody that walked up would of just thought that this was part of the attractions and probably safe. Not realizing not only was is not safe but they were essentially guinea pigs.
