You have to remove rear cup hold then the arm rest replaces it and should clip into existing clips

When i see your armrest, its quite short. My factory installed one is as long as the handbrake! And that would be okay if mine was an automatic, but i highly prefer manual and the armrest makes shifting really weird, even pulling the handbrake won't happen because rhe armrest is in the way. Maybe a new project for me, who knows. And why did you mod the steeringwheel to the wrong side?! Seriously, i think i could never ever drive there with my (left steered) Polo. And those rubbber matts, what are the up and downsides of them? I guess cleaning would be easier with water and soap.. but anything else?

from what I can see i think you need to remove the cup holder then put that in where the cup holder was

You can get an arm rest that slots in your cup holder that works a lot better than that on Amazon ngl

Jessie collingham installed a very similar armrest to a seat ibiza the other day, sure its the same installation on a ibiza and a polo as they both share like 90% of the parts 😂
