FULL EVENT - Nova Campfire: Regenerative Economics for Health of People and Planet

This Nova Campfire on "Regenerative Economics, Finance, and Marketing for Health of People and Planet” was hosted by the the Nova Institute for Health in collaboration with the Garrison Institute.

The purpose of the event was to explore models and mindsets for restorative business. There is a growing call to reorient and rebalance financial and market systems to support regenerative economies with more mindful, compassionate, cooperative worldviews. This includes purpose-driven business and strategies to mobilize sequestered capital and stagnant wealth for community benefit, with a greater focus on fairness and restoring well-being of individuals, societies, and natural systems. Our goal was to discuss the role of policy, institutional mindsets, consumer attitudes, cultural value systems, and the pressure of social movements in transitioning from destructive, hyper-extractive economies toward practices that support flourishing.
