How To Sound Design Punchy Gun Shots

In this video I'll show you how to sound design punchy gun shots using raw recordings that could be used in games or films.
This is just one example of how I would create this type of sound effect using only Ableton stock plugins and raw recordings.

In the beginning of the video I also talk about the importance of using your own recordings if you want to sell your sound effects since most sample library publish won't allow you to use their samples in that way, no matter how much you process them.
'Free To Use Sounds' is the exception, since they have a very unique license agreement.

This is not a sponsored video and I just recently learned about their license agreement.

However, after watching this video, they were kind enough to provide me with an affiliate link to their All In One Bundle:

If you purchase their bundle through this link, I will get a small commission at no additional cost for you. :)

This is amazing, thank you! Can you also create something with voices?

An amazing channel. Going through and watching and liking everything. Maybe a touch boring, but would love a video on your approach to creating higher pitched percussion like hi hats, or any tricks to make them more interesting instead of the basic filtered noise approach.
