Père Lachaise Cemetery: A Short Walk among Paris Famous Graves and Cemetery

We did this a couple of years ago during our Paris trip. It made a nice change to get away from the bustle of the city. We saw Oscar Wilde's tomb and quite a lot of other famous resting places too.

I just love that you did this as an activity. I LOVE wandering through old cemeteries when I visit places. Loved walking through the really old ones in Edinburgh - no famous names, just really old headstones with stories to tell. Great video! :)

What an amazing cemetery! And so many famous tenants! We visited the Montparnasse Cemetery after our tour of the Catacombs. That was rather nice to walk around too. Will have to visit this one when we are next in Paris.

I've been to Paris several times, but have never done this cemetery. I knew I was missing out (so many famous people there), but for what it's worth Chopin is there, but his heart is literally in Warsaw. :) One of our next videos will talk about it.
