I was about to purchase the Littmann classic 3 but I was like "it'll be better if I saw a video on which one to get" and I'm glad that I did

1. How to ensure the Quality of the Littman Stethoscope?
2. Is there any Testing Devices / Simulators for testing Stethoscopes ?
3. What is the Testing Method(s) for Testing the Stethoscopes ?
4. Which one is the Original -- the engraved Trade Mark or Printed Trade mark?

2:56 Classic range shown but annotated as Cardiology range.
Classic II and Classic III are not the same as Cardiology II and III. The Classic range are monitoring stethoscopes. The Cardiology II, III and now IV are in a different range of diagnostic stethoscopes which will be of more utility throughout one's career. The Cardiology range as well as picking up more subtle bruits crepitus is better by the roadside and other noisy environments. Consider an electronic stethoscope if hearing-impaired.

I’m in EMT school and In January I start clinicals. So I need to have one by then, so I’m just gonna ask for a MDF one for Christmas most likely

I mean, yes, I see the point that anything above Littmann Classic III is overkill for med students with little to no clinical training. But 1) stethoscopes can last many years, so you can over time develop the skills to match the instrument, and 2) the video does not acknowledge the med student with impaired hearing, for whom the Classic is insufficient.

what stethoscope do you need as a medical student ? not a cardiology 3 or any other fancy one, any old basic Littman will do

You can also get great tips from watching the old Carry On Doctor movie which comes complete with English accents.

Stupendously explained. Littmann is the reference point.
If MDF is mentioned, ADC (American Diagnostic Corporation) stethoscopes should also. I have a Littmann Cardiology lll and an ADC Adscope Cardiology 602. Identical quality and performance.

Digital things are prone to external factors, so avoid if possible in medical field (when possible), we never use digital thing for BP, heart sounds,
