It’s absolutely criminal that Jimmy never won the World Championship. I truly believe that in most sports, you need a little bit of luck in critical situations, to help you through, and Jimmy never did get that bit of fortune. His potting ability, cue ball mastery and action, rest play, as well as his outrageous skills and flair, put him in a category of the most talented players of all time. Definitely one of my favourite ever players!

That brown at start of the break was typical Jimmy, instinctive and completely outrageous, fantastic to watch such a gifted player, such a shame he couldn't convert his awesome natural ability in to the titles most snooker would have loved to see him win.

Best break I’ve seen on live TV. People talk about Jimmy’s fan base, which is obviously part of the noise but the shots he has to play to keep this break going are incredible. The pot on the brown with the spider is just phenomenal.

If there was one thing in snooker I would love to have happened/seen, it is that this man being crowned world champion🥲He as always being up there with the big boys but those winning trophies eluded him. Your still a champion to many of us JW👌👏🥇👍
