"I am a proud Yorta Yorta and Wurundjeri woman. I was lucky to grow up surrounded by my close-knit family learning about my culture.
In 2009/10, I studied a Certificate III and IV in Business Administration at BHI and found a far more supportive and inclusive learning environment than I had at school. That experience inspired me to work at BHI and in 2023, I joined the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Unit (ATSIU). Everyone deserves a fair opportunity at education and employment, and I’m incredibly proud of our work. Seeing Indigenous students thrive in their education is so rewarding."
