I love this Readathon too!
I need to get to Tomb of Sand at some point.

I looooved Dial A for Aunties, it definitely had me cackling and was such a breath of fresh air!! Wooow good for you with Tomb of Sand, you are truly in your big book era lol. Someday I will get to that! haha

I am obsessed with Asian readathon, this will be my third year doing it and I am so excited because I found the prompts quite challenging this year and it can go either way as I have many books that can match the prompts.
I will be reading 2-3 books combining the prompts:
- for adventure and friendship I will read “battle royale” which is by Japanese author and was a precursor for hunger games apparently
- for famous and identity I will be reading “wild swans” by Chinese author
And then it’s a toss up between Things We Lost to Water or Sympathizer, I guess will depend on time.

I like to make extra challenges for myself within the readathon, for example one of the books must be nonfiction 😅
I am very curious what is the memoir you’re reading now though 🥰

I've been so curious about The Disaster Tourist, I definitely get hot mess vibes from it too.
