2024 Dodge Hornet GT Plus AWD (Seriously Fun)

The Dodge hornet is much more than your typical small crossover. It's filled with attitude and a spirit that actually makes it enjoyable to drive. From it's powertrain to the bolstering of the front seats, you'll feel the sportiness from the moment you get in. I paid $30k otd for a GT plus with black top package. MSRP was $41k. This SUV blows away the competition in every way. Performance, AWD, handling, heated cooled leather seats, Harmon Kardon surround sound, nav, and many other features. At these prices these are a steal.

Who likes this color on this Dodge Hornet GT Plus fondly called Acapulco Gold? It is a vibrant color & while driving it out on the roads in the early morning the Gold seems to have a yellowish to orange variance! I must say that Dodge Hornet's Acapulco Gold is growing on me!

The color is top rate in being called Acapulco Gold! Inspite of a bad auto economy and Stellantis's woes the Dodge Hornet GT PLUS AWD is a well engineered Dodge with Alfa Romeo underpinnings! Auto prices these days are astronomical so my pet peeve is that the Dodge Hornet should be priced starting at $23, 500! Prices on the Dodge Hornet will be going down due to various inconsistencies within the American Auto Industry! If you want a Dodge Hornet now is the time to go shopping perhaps!

The trip computer is also in the rpm cluster. You have to turn all the cluster options on in the vehicle settings. Then you can cycle through and select display option for the cluster

The front end isn’t modeled after an Alph Romeo Tonale. The car is a Tonale, but the front is modeled after the Dodge Charger or Durango.

How do you get the headlights to do that little show?

The zero to 60 time on the GT is actualy 5.6 seconds even though Dodge advertises 6.5. Its very peppy. Just as quick as the RT

For that 'auto on/off' nonsense, how often do you have to push the button to disable it?
I take it the stereo sucks. Can you get a cup in & out of that back cup holder?

The Ford Escape is just as fast with the 2.0 engine and offers more cargo space, but I am really impressed by the interior the Hornet.

as a Stellantis service tech.... don't. Just don't. There are better options out there and these are having MANY issues. You could give me this for free I would still decline it.

That Price! Damn! Loaded CR-V, RAV 4, Envision, Santa Fe, Sorento, Explorer, You get the point. I get it has Alpha DNA. But CR-V is Fun too.

its not AWD bud the gas runs teh front teh electric runs the back and at 30 miles rang means you wont have AWD only front wheel drive
