Ben is a cross-disciplinary scientist, entrepreneur, and author. He leads the SingularityNET Foundation, OpenCog Foundation, and AGI Society, which runs the annual Artificial General Intelligence conference. He chairs Humanity+ and serves as Chief Scientist for AI firms Rejuve, Mindplex, Cogito, and Jam Galaxy, all part of SingularityNET. He is also a keyboardist and vocalist in Desdemona’s Dream Band, the first band led by a humanoid robot. He led the software team behind the Sophia robot at Hanson Robotics and currently works on Grace at Awakening Health. He holds a PhD in mathematics from Temple University and has taught in the US, Australia, and New Zealand.
