Thanks again for this video, Sean. Ive been outside the last three days shooting my Noble Recurve. It seems like we are similar build. Im 6'1 plus a little more. I decided on the 70" bow.

While I will always love shooting a compound bow, recurve is a completely different experience. Its for lack of a better word.

I have not installed the sight that came with the bow. Ive just veen shooting. So far, I can get semi decent groupings at 20 yards. But the whole feel is so different! Its a lot of fun.

I wish Sanlida had left handed options. My wife has watched me shoot, and I can tell she wants to try it out but shes a lefty.

We are both school photographers, and we share a lot of camera gear. But that stuff is mostly ambidextrous.

Anyway, I ended up ordering another brand for her. But its a similar design. Our anniversary is this month, and I cant think of a better way to spend it, than having a nice dinner and then hitting the range in the backyard and having fun.

Your videos have been so helpful, man. Getting back outside and shooting has been cathartic. We live in strange times, and its nice to be able to just go outside and get away from the noise.

Thanks for the tips on bow sizing. I have my eye on the Sanlida Noble Standard as a value entry to target shooting at a family cabin. I'd like to accommodate multiple people, including women in our family. One strong teenage male is 6'2" with long arms, so he would definitely need the 70 inch bow. Another son and I are under 6 ft so we'll have shorter draw lengths. Since our teenager is plenty strong, I was thinking of getting a draw weight in the range of 28-32 lb, which would be progressively lighter for the rest of us with our shorter draw lengths. I've read that beginners should start lighter in order to more easily focus on form. Do you have any concerns with this rationale? I guess in a nutshell - is there a downside for the shorter people to use a taller bow than needed?
