I think my dad is a perfect example of good socialization with strangers. whenever we go out, it doesn’t matter who with or where, he always manages to have some pleasant conversation or interaction with somebody because he is just that outgoing and friendly! It can be kind of annoying when we’re in a rush and he stops to have a conversation with some guy at the gas station but it’s nice to see!

I’ve been collecting friends online, I have a good 5 people I actually hang out with. IRL I have no friends. Went to a completely online high school. And am going to college. In college, most don’t want to talk during class, you pay to go to the class, nobody’s got the time for anyone else or any other interaction. Class is over, the entire class dissappears magically. Social interactions are basically limited to interactions with the instructor, interactions with your coworkers and boss at work, and online interactions. Welcome to the modern era.

I met a lot of friendly people when i go out to bars, when i play open matches in padel..etc. Maybe join a sports club to find like minded people. I feel like the only limiting factor is your own mindset, if you think that everyone is negative then you will attract that energy.
