Installing the Google Play Store on the Redmi 7 and Redmi 7a

Anyone who has sideloaded an APK file may think this process is quite easy. Many have probably tried to go to a 3rd-party application repo (such as APK Pure or APK Mirror) just to download the Google Play APK file. The thing is, you need more than just the Google Play application for it to work.

When most people buy an Android smartphone or tablet they expect it to have the Google Play Store installed on it. Sadly, this isn't currently available on devices sold in China. So, if you have purchased a Chinese version of the Xiaomi Redmi 7 or 7a then you will need to follow this tutorial in order to get the Play Store.

I can't find that Google Apps Icon With Chinese Writing On It. Can You Help Me? And The App Store Name in My Device Is Get app. Do I need to install that kind of app store for Redmi?

hi, i am having issues with the wifi on my redmi 7 (from an overseas purchase). apparently, i can only use the wifi thru other phone's hotspot. how do i resolve this issue? thanks in advance!

i have honor 8x chinese version

before i installed google service same as ur tutorial .
now i update emui 8.2 to 9.0.1
after update all Google's apps crashed and stop working.
i reset my device many time also i downgrade from 9.0.1 to 8.2 via hisuite ... but no result

After updating my phone yes it is good i have new features and no lag and big space for me but the problem is my youtube, playstore, games apps because of the system update i am glad that ny chrome is working so i can use yt in here

I just updated my redmi 7a to MIUI 12 after that all my google apps doesn't work anymore specially youtube, gmail, chrome etc., I tried APK but they don't function well and they always crash, I also tried downloading Google installer but it says google play services couldn't support this device.

I regret updating my phone. I need Help! does Redmi block all google apps? whats the best thing to resolve this?
