There are good reasons to have 6v6. I would say that attacking people's character who enjoyed 6v6 is not a great way to improve your small following. Plenty of people like 6v6 who aren't "little support main who wants to sit behind their 2 shields". Ad hominem isn't how you win arguments.

6v6 wasn’t the problem. It was the over abundance of stuns, shields and op ults that made the game a wait until we have ults and then rush in meta. I think 6v6 has more potential now that most of those are gone, because being able to have two tanks who can make crazy positioning plays breaking up their team and also enemy focus just seems more fun then the steamroll or get steamrolled game we have now. I just think having to rely on the ability of one tank is frustrating, and even when your tank is good the enemy tank might be bad or just worse, which throws the whole game down a one sided cheek shredder.

6v6 was better for more people than support players 😂 especially tanks because two tanks was always better than one, when’s the last time you saw a singular winston carry a match? when has anyone EVER seen a singular winston carry a match? and if someone picks doomfist? you might as well not have a tank at all because you know he isn’t good for blocking damage for the whole team, literally the only tanks that still matter at this point are orisa, sigma, roadhog
(if your good with him) and reinhardt. also you know good and well healing was so much better with two supports to carry you through the map

5v5 is actually so unhealthy for everyone besides the tank in my opinion. Just feels like the game is now to heavily reliant on one tank which can be so detrimental, especially when your tank picks an off tank character and you're left to fend for yourself while they act as a glorified dps.

I want to go back to 6v6 so I can play off tank again, it was so much fun. Tank in OW2 is terrible to play because you are so dependent on your team.

As a tank main i actually do kinda miss 6v6, having the security that if I have a off day, my other tank may be able to pick up my slack was nice, but I will say 5v5 has forced me to up my rein game and to overall improve harder
