On top of all this i have sciatica which i believe is sciatic nerve endometriosis. I sometimes limp and am unable to walk. OCPs have helped much but i still have severe episodes occasionally. I am going to try the continuous pill use to see if it completely eliminates the painful episodes

I have endometriosis stage 3. For my left hip pain I stick to Turmeric only, and fish oil, random multi vitamin (no Tylenol, no ibuprofen) Workout: pelvic therapy exercises. And a very green plant base diet and prayer. Sorry It's not a cure. But you have too make the life choice of surgery or no surgery, I think, (sigh) I probably will eventually get the surgery, I'm scared too, due to the fact it will weaken me (my immune system).

2 years since I had regrowth make itself known and major pain (7 years since my last laproscopic surgery to remove endo). After months of waiting, an MRI scan, appointments at Gynae, I am pleased to say I am finally awaiting my specialist to have her meeting with a multi-discipline team to discuss what sort of surgery I am due to have. The pain is at it's most unbearable and I've been told the surgery will be a long one. I am now menstruating every day and taking a variety of pain relief. I may get put onto zoladex after the surgery. I would do anything to not have to endure this pain. I hope one day endometriosis is taken much more seriously and we can end the needless suffering 😢

I have severe vaginal pain before and during my periods i cant even move or get up from bed. Does someone know is it because of endometriosis? I did take a scan but everything is normal so i dont know what to do

Endometriosis is characterized by the presence of ectopic endometrial tissue; the abnormal tissue contains endometrial glands and stroma or stroma alone. 🩸🩸🩸
There are several theories about its pathogenesis, one possibility is the appearance of ectopic endometrial tissue due to retrograde menstrual flow to the uterine tube; however, it would not explain endometriosis in women with amenorrhea or in men treated with estrogen for prostate cancer, as well as in remote areas ( brain, lung and bone).
