How to CLIMB Nakajima Shrine | Ghost of Tsushima Iki Island DLC

In this video, I show you how to climb to the top of the Nakajima Shrine in Ghost of Tsushima. This is a different type of shrine from what you are used to in the map, a little bit more puzzle-like. There are some tricky hidden paths (especially if you are doing this by night), so here is my gameplay so you can follow along.

the jump at 3:01 was the most difficult for me in all of Tsushima. After about approximately 17mins of dying, I turned to YouTube to see if I was doing anything wrong. Well, after seeing this video I guess Jin from Yarikawa grew some confidence and I finally made the jump.

For those who still having trouble at jumping section, go setting and turn ON stick drift compensation, got it on 1st try, most bs jumping design ever

If someone still need It, I was able to make the big jump pressing L3 on PS like you do when you want to run, and X to jump. Worked out right away.

After exactly 341 attempts (yes i counted) here is what you do to jump THAT branch.
1. Don’t look directly at the branch but slightly above its bifructation
2. Hold L3
3. Hold X even after you jump
4. Save game manually after doing the jump

Shrine-climbing was my favorite sideline in the game. No enemy, no other distraction, just nature and yourself climbing to the top, medieval Japan Tomb Raider-style, Lala Koloftu????

3:01 i tried for 30 min with no results, then i tried holding jump while looking directly at the branch and It worked

Aside from Sucker Punch not play testing the jump at 3:01, this shrine as a whole is poorly designed.

It's hard to even see where you're going half the time.

Jump on the first branch, then scoot to the right of the branch, turn off your controller, then turn it back on, then look down at the lower branch and and jump towards it.

Haha swear it worked. Also, turning off the controller and turning it back on helps with getting stuck climbing or getting stuck in crawl spaces.

That jump fron tree branch to tree branch at 3:01 though...for some reason it's not letting me catch it, am I suppose to press something else after the jump?? Thanks

If someone is struggling with the jump at 03:00, just consider that there is a branch that you might not see (like me, even watching the video) ❤

I passed this on my own without walkthrough but came here just to see if anyone else was infuriated with this nonsense shrine climb. I mean there are tough shrine climbs but this one certainly takes the cake in how ridiculous pain in the ass it is.

This shrine isn't hard, you just need luck in your side and hope that jin can teleport while you jump

1:54 for some reason my game glitched and I cant crawl out or back, if I fast travel back to the beginning and try again I cant. Wtf is happening

Ok... So looking at the branch and looking down didn't work at all for me... Once you jump into the first branch, scoot to the right... Then look directly up. First time I tried that it worked easy... Just spent over 30 minutes watching videos. Hope this helps...b I'm going to try it again to make sure
