Hey there Rob! I was wondering if there was an in-built start-stop function on the pedal which allows you to play with the loops (if it allows you to actually stop and start when you like or if it's simply muted) If not, is there a complimentary footswitch that you have to buy?

It means you can have 16 hours worth of loops stored on the looper at a time. You can dump off loops with the help of the JamManager software (free download from DigiTech's website), and it will free up the memory for more loops...so you can put 16 MORE hours on there if you wish. Oh, and the JM Stereo only runs on its dedicated power supply...runs on 9.6 volts, I think. Tried with a OneSpot, but got a lot of white noise. So, use their power supply or one that supplies that voltage.
