To write a song like Karma Chameleon and be able to sing it like that, makes him a legend in my opinion!! The song is great because its a very fun song however its about bad experiences! When I'm upset I listen to Karma Chameleon because it relates a lot too my life!!

I never thought that I would say this 37 years later. Boy George was actually very talented.

When I was a child, I was completely fascinated by the androgynous and bold figure of Boy George. (For context, I’m Chilean.) His music had such a profound impact on me that this song was the first I ever learned in phonetic English. I remember carefully writing down how the words sounded in a notebook, memorizing them, and singing along every time it came on the radio.

At home, I faced a lot of criticism, and at school, even my classmates made fun of me for liking Boy George. I’d hear things like, “You’re not supposed to like this aberration, ” “He’s a deviant, ” or “Boys can’t like that f****t.” They even went so far as to rip up my posters—whatever a 10-year-old could manage to collect in those days. But I didn’t let any of that get to me. To this day, Boy George remains one of my greatest idols.
