In Philippines storm at wind speed 100 km/h is just normal.
The most powerful storm we experience is 315 km/h.

What we witness today is only a prelude to what is going to happen in the future. No one can predict the exact date but it will strike like a thief in the night.

I live in NW England. Whilst growing up we had snow and rain every day. Hot summers but only July and aug .
Now there is zero snow . Rain falls but not like before . The sun is always shining and it's always mild even on the winter.

It's not localised to Europe, the world is one biosphere and doesn't abide by borders and petty political divisions. Pacific Islands will have it worse. This is why we, the human race have to put behind our primitive tribal mindset and work as one, or our children or grandchildren will pay the price

Meanwhile, the Philippines as a storm path country, now decrease by 50% already. We usually hit by 20-30 cyclones per year with max of 220 kph using 1 minute sustained average wind but now the month will end we only have 6 cyclones.

As sad it is to see this, but I think it is going to have much more impact on global movement for climate change. Smaller and poor countries are suffering for years due to climate but none taken seriously. Now its in the countries that actually make/influence major campaigns.

On one side reporting drought, another side reporting floods, everything is being attributed for climate change. Funding are huge for Scientists, Grants, Research in the climate change business, while we are ignoring how we have changed the water ways and water management. Built cities on water catchment areas, lakes have disappeared.
In Bangalore 60s the number of tanks/lakes was 920 and now you can count them by finger tips.
