Take New York city area, there are several parks like Central Park, Prospect Park or Freshkills Park on Staten Island that could be taken over and with all the money for social services build mini-homes for the homeless, the same could be done all over the US.

This is awful. Noone over 65 should be homeless. Get rid of the migrants and help these folks out first

They're the ones that allowed our country to become what it is. Time for some consequences and accountability for their ignorance 👍

As a boomer you report is liberal B.S., you camr into this with a point of view and distorted the issue. The reason is none of those things and you got the past issue in erong decades, oil crash was in the 80s, not 70s. Globalization was a 90s problem pushed by Clinton, not the 80s. There were several opportunities to buy s house for cheap during the savings & loan crises in the late 80s or during the 2008 crash. But the best investment period that built boomers wealth was the 80s, eith the new 401k investmentd ee had too many investors for too few stocks and drove up prices, this is where most Boomers made their wealth. Interest rates were high and that is where i made my wealth. Housing was risky, stocks bonds & gold did better. BUT, the real reason some boomers didnt do eell is because in sny group 1/3 the people are above average and the other half are below average. Above average half do well, below average half fall behind. Everything is a competition, you dont need to be the best but to do well you must strive to be in to top half.
