THANKS SO MUCH. I am prepping for my 3rd Registry and had no clue about these terms or formulas. At least NOW I KNOW they need to be hammered. Major help!

A 30 year old patient is referred to the X-ray department for Abdominal X-ray. The liver of mass 10Kg receives an absorbed dose of 20mGy for 120 seconds. Calculate
i. The energy of the X-rays.
ii. The absorbed dose rate.
iii. The equivalent dose.
iv. The effective dose
v. The exposure for this examination.
Help look into this

Hi sir, I just want to ask where you got the tissue weighing factors? is it in the book bushong? Because the Wt of the gonads in the book bushong is 0.20 but you put it as 0.08 the same as on google. Pls i need answers Thank you sir 😊

Uhmm sir
Is the unit of total absorbed dose and absorbed dose the same, cause in the third question total absorbed dose was measured in gy and in the fourth question absorbed dose was measured in mgy

I know a fewEnglish. Please tell me, the sinus X-ray report says that the radiation dose is 16.75 cGy*cm2, and is this a lot for a 10-year-old child?

if a sievert is the same as a gray, why do scientists confuse us by creating both of them when we could just use sieverts or grays? Because when you got 25 mGy, you said it's the same as 25 mSv, so doesn't that mean Sieverts and Grays are the same?

A 10 MeV photon irradiates a 100 g volume of water. A pair production event occurs in the volume. What is the kerma?
