What happens when you tell the cops you weren't afraid for your life after claiming self defense? You have an upward battle in court!

I had a client who was a decorated military veteran who won a fight someone else picked with him. He told the cops it wasn't a big deal and he was trained for those types of situations. Guess what happened? The cops believed he aggressor of the altercation! So, drop the macho act when the cops come around. Tell them you were afraid for your life and that's why you needed to take action to defend yourself.

This is simple. No matter how well trained you are everyone is capable of getting lucky. The fact that the veteran only chose to use a submission hold instead of taking the attacking neighbors life shows his compassion and that he values life. The courts should be commending his use of restraint against and armed attacker.

The first clip is a video where self defense against the cop would be justifiable. He physically assaulted that man and then tried to erase the video evidence. He only got fried from what I remember, or more likely was allowed to resign.

Its sad that we have to gamble our lives TWICE in a self defense situation in America when we have the Second Amendment. First time is when your attacked and second is when you have to deal with the thin blue line gang and the black robe tyrants who most likely have never been in the military, let alone on the bad side of town, and have ZERO respect for your right to self defense!
