I just relised this is the hardest creation with paper i have ever made

Foldscope team, two questions: 1) What's the purpose of the double-sided tape that goes between the coupler and the lens? 2) The magnetic flap has a hard time coupling to the stage magnet, especially with a glass slide inserted. Do you have any suggestion to make this work better? I assume it's required to hold the sample at a correct distance to the lens? By the way, this is an excellent video - the directions should have a link to it prominently at the beginning of the instructions.

Our kits only came with two couplers and what appears to be the lens already attached to a coupler, which is fine.. except when using the Foldscope with the phone coupler, the lens/coupler keeps popping out, even though it is inserted properly. Please help. I have already distributed these to online lab students.

hi foldscope is the clear sticker optonal or is it required i was hoping that i can put the scope into a surface and shine light on it is it possible? if it is pls reply i really want to know
