The Detection rate was really good. But at 12:00 you can see that the Realtime protection is disabled. Perhaps it does have some behavior component.

Despite high detection ratio, Lavasoft Ad-Aware seems does not really count with a behavioral component to block zero day malware. Thanks a lot for another great review!

So right now I'm using MSE & Spyware Terminator (free version). Can Ad-Aware 11 replace both of these wile giving me the same or better protection?

On another subject. I used RT7Lite to make a custom, slimmed Win7 USB boot disk with SP1 & other critical updates SlipStreamed. I'll be doing a fresh install with it on a 30GB SSD, pretty small by today's standards but I only really need it for the OS. I also have a 74GB 10, 000 RPM WD Raptor HD that I'll be using for programs & games (plenty for my needs) & a 750GB 7200RPM SG Barracuda HD that I'll use for storage, backups etc. Once the OS is installed & everything is configured correctly, I will use Ninite to install all the needed utilities, drivers, apps etc. I only got this far by doing a lot of research as I don't have much experience in this regard. Do you think this is a good configuration for the hardware & a good approach to installing, configuring & updating the software? Thanks for your time, take care & TECH ON!

You failed to activate the real-time module before trying 0-day test. The program can't be expected to detect if real time module is not on; big mistake on this part of review

wow im surprised Ad aware used to be garbage.. they really improved with bit defender backing it up... this is an old program too i remember using this back in the win 2000 days haha

I saw a video on how to install Comodo firewall and this time computer did not freeze up there was a customs area I clicked on customs and clicked everything that was not the firewall and it installed nicely and this antivirus might go well with that firewall I will have to think about it God Bless.

It just got installed on my laptop after the Itune/Iclound install.
