(Spoilers for anyone who hasn't seen this movie) I was 12 yrs old when I saw this movie in theaters with my dad. Beautiful movie the ending stuck with me that night all the feelings I got from it at the time it was a sad feeling the loneliness of 2000 yrs passing along with all of man kind & most importantly to David his mother as well. If you had one last day with the one you love most how do you spend it. They did everything they enjoyed most with each other before falling into eternal sleep. The 12 yr old me wanted a happier ending for David. As a 33 yr old I find that David was still very fortunate to atleast have one final day with his mother to relive all the joy & love they once shared 2000 yrs prior to that day, the feeling I have now when thinking about it is very sombering. Thank you for your honest thoughts & for posting this movie review
