This scene is when Ferdinand leaves the farm and his last main appearance in the movie. In fact, the rest of the movie is way too scary and dramatic for Ferdinand! I don't think he can be in the movie any more. Babe is on his own without him. That's because this scene takes place before the end of the movie's first act. But the viewers will see Ferdinand at the finale, where he has a few brief appearances. 😱 That's why Ferdinand is a supporting character in the movie, where he is Babe's mentor. And Ferdinand does have a bigger role in the sequel.
