I love to catch a YouTube short about a video I watched, makes me feel like I'm getting some extra saucy epilogue

I used to have everything set to dark mode but I felt that it was contributing to my depression. I basically use my phone as a sun lamp now

I can't use dark mode because when I see white letters on a dark background they're literally burned onto my retina. Even when I turn my eyes away I still can see the text for a couple of seconds.

My optometrist said that the optic nerve is (one of) the largest nerve in the body and it conducts pain.

Oh, well that explains the subjective length and breadth of the dagger stabbing through each eye socket into my brain.

The thing about Bright Hurty that I find weirdest is that if you shut one eye, the other one is now perfectly happy with the high light levels.

If you're outside squinting because opening your eyes wide makes them hurt, try closing or covering one eye and you'll see. Doesn't make any sense to me!

Maybe I'm the odd one out but Dark Mode actually gives me a headache. Something about white letters on black makes it extremely hard to focus on and it just hurts my head.

One of the main reasons I use alternative software almost everywhere, I cannot stand being flashbanged just because, I want my nice dark theme across all programs and devices, in fact not just dark, but pitch black.

I am a strange case. I have sensitivity to light (my glasses transition to a darker shade when I'm in the sun), but I use light mode on the lowest brightness and am fine. I once tried dark mode and, it may have been me being used to light mode, it hurt my eyes as if the white letters were glowing. Regardless, I choose the darkest brightness level every time unless I am in the sun, and I often have to turn up the brightness on my laptop if I want to show someone else anything.
