Monterosso al Mare Walking Tour - Cinque Terre

Ciao, and welcome to Monterosso al Mare, home to the absolute best beaches in Cinque Terre. Monterosso is the largest of the 5 towns. In fact, back in the 1948, it was removed from the Cinque Terre trail because it was thought to be too large. It was added back onto the the Cinque Terre list the following year. :) This walk begins on Via Roma in the Old Town. It will take you down to the main Piazza where you will get to see an outdoor market and the Church of San Giovanni Battista. The walk continues along the beach and then up to the Convent of the Capuchin Monks. Finally, you will walk along the lively seafront promenade in the New Town. Put on your headphones to get the best experience of the tour. Thanks for watching!

I was introduced to the Cinque Terre in 1976 and always hoped to get back there. Age and the virus make that now seem unlikely however your video has gone a long way towards compensating me. The last town of the Cinque Terre, really beautiful beaches, it's a bigger town but very calm and peaceful, August is a hot month and also the month when most of the Italians are on vacation, very enjoyable videos of the 5 towns, now have to wait for the next video, till then Ciao!
