Arch mages at winter cannot buy things from enthir because his work is a secret that is why he mostly sells at night. Hope this helped. ; D

If you want daedra hearts then go to dawnstar and then do a quest. To start the quest go to dawstar museum. It should show you on the local map. Just follow he quest and you will fight some daedric warriors they are not too difficult and they each will drop a daedra heart and really good weapons and u will get 3 urns and 3 chests to loot and lots of other items. You cant always buy spells from him there is a glitch in the game that makes it so you cant buy from him after you join the college if you never bought from him before you joind. (I think they are patching it soon)

My destruction is level 61, I can use expert spells but nobody will sell me any. All I can say to Ethir is "what's not allowed here?".

To clear things up... He will sell to you at the start of the game, but wont if youre the arch mage UNLESS you do the thieves guild quests.

Archmage+thieves guild quests= Business
