Guardians of the Galaxy Bendis Review | Cosmic Avengers | Vol 1 | HC

Today, I'm reviewing Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Avengers, Vol. 1 Hardcover (HC) by Brian Michael Bendis. This small Marvel Comics collection kickoff the Marvel Now! Guardians of the Galaxy run under Bendis!

This is my first GotG book, and I thoroughly enjoyed the ride! Fans of the Guardians of the Galaxy movie will have no trouble recognizing Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket Raccoon, and Groot--amongst others. Have you read Guardians of the Galaxy by Bendis? Let me know in the comments below!

Good review. I had the floppies up to when Angela appeared. They were quite good. Bendis could still write then. I can't believe Tony Stark slept with Gamora lol.
I would love to see Angela in the MCU {and the comics too}.

Doesn’t get too much love but I’m a big Bendis fan and thought this was pretty fun. Nothing too too memorable but just a good ole classic time! Glad you liked it.

But yeah definitely read the Abnett and Lanning run if you want a more big picture/cerebral GotG take.
