Ok from 1:51-1:55 not only did the trumpets individually nail that run and make no mistakes, they were ALSO perfectly balanced and I feel like that deserves some more recognition lol.

I wish the cast recording version was this tempo. It sounds so much more exciting at this speed imo but Sutton and this ensemble are fabulous!

how is it that she looks fabulous in ANY haircolor? She is my absolute idol. Just phenomenal. Broadway misses her!

Her little three jumps on her low notes make me happy. You can tell she loves this number!

I love "Blow Gabriel Blow", because even Cole Porter himself never actually believed with what exactly he got away with in that song! 😂

One criticism I've heard is that Sutton Foster can't "belt it out "as is required for this part. However, after seeing and hearing this, I think those people must be nuts. She belts it out just great and she looks great too.

as someone whos done a westend show of this musical i need to reiterate that this is the most fun number in the entire show by a long shot and i wouldnt be surprised if all those huge bright smiles are 100% genuine
everyone would get so pumped when the intermission ended and it was time for this one that it was an effort to look like a bored hoity toity rich guy because youd just be vibrating with energy in anticipation of that dance to that balling music and youd look around to see your cast members white-knuckling the prop wine glasses to stop their hands shaking with excitement
i come back to this song every once in a while just to relive that because i'll never forget it
and it looks like it's a universal experience <3

Who else thinks she would make a great Roxie?

It's really amazing how they were able to trim a full blown Broadway production number down to fit Letterman's performance area and still pull it off with this much power.

I went to see Sutton for the first time at The Barbican, London on Saturday and I’m still in shock! Nothing prepares you for her talent in person, she's absolutely incredible!!! Countless standing ovations during the show, people in tears from sheer joy, it was a life changing experience!

THIS is the number and the moment l judge everything else in musicals by. It heads the class, which includes things like “All that Jazz”, “l’m the Greatest Star”, “Sit Down, You’re Rockin’ the

As someone who did a production of Anything Goes, "Blow Gabriel Blow" was DEFINITELY the MOST FUN number to perform, I always cracked a HUGE SMILE 😁singing out the last note.

I can't tell you how many times I have watched this. Every single time, it still takes my breath away. The magic of Broadway.... And Sutton Foster.

Just fabulous. Sutton Foster is this generation's Patti Lupone, I hope she gets more roles that can showcase her talent like this.

Cole Porter was a genius. Foster camps this up a little. The dance routine is spectacular.
