Fun trivia: Tony actually sings on this one! They just threw him in there when recording, and I believe he is singing the “Oh it’s a hard road” chorus on the tail end of the song.

If Sabbath would've remained together after this album, thought it would've been so cool to end their concerts with this song, with the crowd singing the final refrain for a bit, ending the concert as it faded out. Would've loved to have heard that in a live version, especially on the radio from time to time. One of those classic live songs/performances.

We used to hurtle around Suffolk in a mk 2 Cortina 2.0GT blasting this.

I loved it in 78 and still love it in 2021. And no Van Halen was not better at the 2 shows I saw that tour.
No one admitted to liking Sabbath back then .
