You don't need that much vinegar to clean your kettle. a few tbsps and a cup of water will be plenty to remove the mineral buildup
myheartbelongoi
I use a tablespoon of citric acid and I fill it with water and it works the same without the vinegary smell
yalioz
"if it looks like this" proceeds to show the cleanest kettle ever
goodman
For those who hate the smell of vinegar citric acid will descale and clean the kettle the same way with no smell
gregfreeman
Better version: Lime juice. boil it, leave 5 minutes, swish it around and do one last boil. The limescale will come off easy (and smell really nice)
nyu
You pour the water/vinegar out the spout too! There are build ups in there as well!
GeonQuuin
Here in Austria, the kettle looks like that after a single use
OrdericNeustry
Have that exact same kettle and yes, it does look exactly like that. Damn. I feel called out & gotta clean my kettle now
christianotter
I've learned so much about coffee from your channel ever since I started watching a couple years ago.
noahtheisen-ftkz
a spoon full of cytric acid will do the same thing and it will smell nice.
I sometimes fill spray bottles with this mix for bathroom cleaning too
LethalTurd
A friend accidentally drank straight vinegar at work once because someone was cleaning the water machine
Rusya-P
Not once has my kettle looked like that 😌
trishatrisha
That acidic water is still active, and can be poured into thè w.c. to remove/loosen lime scale
sharonsmith
Thank you for the tips with milk and espresso :) it has made my coffee game 100% better
ariafrost
Use citric acid. Just as safe (citric acid is edible in small doses, it's in citrus) and most importantly doesn't stink.
marekogarek
If you do it this way, don’t forget to rinse it out immediately, otherwise somebody else will drink it! You don’t have to boil the water, just twirl some rounds and done. Or use lime juice.
HVLMT
Citric acid works well too. And does not smell so bad.
chrisstevenson
Nasty is a word that reminds of a certain Mar e Lago resident.
ccattery
Don't fill more than half full because it expands and boils over. And dont forget to rinse it several times or your coffee will taste of vinegar.
deefee
I save the vinegar to use for cleaning other surfaces
