DOs for pigmentation 👇🏻 :By Dr Rashmi Shetty

Показать описание
DOs for pigmentation 👇🏻 :
- make sure to keep your skin well hydrated, from inside out.
☁️ Apply a moisturiser based on your skin type every single day AND night.
🥗 Incorporate hydrating foods, as well as foods that give you fatty acids, in your diet.
- never skin SPF!!
Sun can cause pigmentation, and worsen it ☀️ Therefore, using a sunscreen through the day is non-negotiable.
Make sure you re-apply your sunscreen every 4 hours atleast, if you are prone to pigmentation & especially if you already have pigmentation.
Remember, sunscreen is a must even if it’s cloudy & gloomy, and when you’re indoors but your space has windows or you are exposed to blue light from electronics.
- Your skin care, food & supplements must include ingredients that have antioxidant & anti inflammatory properties
- Go to an expert!!
👩⚕️ Do not self medicate / treat hyperpigmentation. Google may be a good way to become more aware of what’s out there, but some things you must leave to the qualified experts. And things like skin health, acne, pigmentation - are one of them. Self treating can lead to simply worsening your pigmentation. Therefore, beware ⚠️
