(1117) Awesome Red Modified Bloom Technique~Paint Pouring~Fluid Art

Показать описание
This video is how to do a Bloom Technique, Modified with Swirls, with good results with my proven recipe, I show how I lay my paints on a pillow with coloured paints mixed with my pouring medium. Then add a cell activator on top and blow to create cells. I use a mini blower or straw, or hairdryer. I take a skewer after I blow it out and add swirls to it, like modifying it. Then I spin it out. Then when the paint doesn’t move anymore it’s done. Awesome Fluid Art.

My POURING MEDIUM; changed so, 2 parts Behr 8300 , deep base, high gloss, untinted house paint, to 1 part Minwax Polycrylic gloss varnish or 1 pt JoSonja gloss varnish, this makes the pouring medium.
PAINTS; are then mixed 3 parts Pouring Medium, to 1 part paint. water and varnish mixture to thin.
For PIGMENTS, add a small amount of pm to cup, then add your pigments to wet and mix, then add the rest of PM.

BLOOM & SWIPE Cell Activators.
***My CELL ACTIVATOR, is 3-4 parts Australian Floetrol, to 1 Part Titanium white, Amsterdam paint or Amsterdam oxide black or any opaque colour.
***Alternative Cell Activator, 1 tsp amsterdam oxide black, or titanium white Paint, to 3 tsp floetrol, and 3-4 drops of WD40 Silicone. paint should be opaque.
***Another CA 1 tblsp of amsterdam oxide black, 1 tblsp of water, 2 dropper full of liquitex acrylic ink, add water 1/2 at a time, doesnt like pigments.
***Another CA is 1 part Aussie floetrol and 1 part American floetrol , then 1 part Amsterdam oxide black or Lamp black paint, to 3 parts floetrol mixture.

Bloom Recipe using Sargent Pouring Medium, 2 parts deco art paint to 1 part Sargent pouring medium, or Liquitex pouring medium, or Pebeo pouring medium. Tube paints will need more pouring medium.

** It's a good idea to wear gloves and a respirator, and work in a ventilated area, when mixing, some ingredients can be toxic, like varnish, wood conditioner, polyacrylic, floetrol, polyurethane, and resin.

This is gorgeous. This has such wonderful Christmas vibes and I love that you were able to utilize the shades most associated with Christmas and actually got this incredible of a result. When I've tried using these shades in the past, they've come out terrible looking in the end and I've only found success within a modified palette, which I have loved for its elegance, but I've still been a little frustrated I wasn't able to go more traditional with a great result. This is gorgeous here, and so inspiring!

This is gorgeous stunning colors. I’m afraid to use red with green but you can do very easy. Love these color combinations. Carol I would like to ask you about your air blower where I can find this blower?

Love this. Do you need to treat the tile first, so the paint sticks?

What do you do with the tiles when you're finished? Do you have to seal them afterwards, before use?
