Shane Oliver, chief economist and head of investment strategy at AMP Capital, expects all major central banks, with perhaps one exception, to cut rates by October as an easing cycle kicks off. He sees a "cautious tightening" from the Bank of Japan while risk of a recession portends a call of a September rate cut from the Federal Reserve. He speaks with Joumanna Bercetche on Horizons Middle East & Africa.
