this arduino pro micro button matrix midi controller uses midiusb software. i elected not to use diodes to keep the build simple, plus i dont expect to press 3 buttons close to each other at the same time.

the case dimensions are 130mmX130mmX19mm
i love the small compact form factor.

you can also repurpose this to make your own stream deck, joystick or even pc controller with xinput! the pro micro is a pretty cool chip.

thanks for watching!

3D printers are so cool I want one so badly. I’m always seeing awesome things made with them.

You should 3d print custom keypads so you know what button is what

The song used is sand by atlas on soundcloud I'm not sure about the actual beat orgin but hes the one who's most notably used it.

If you could get ahold of MPC pads and ink, this would be so fucking cool. Right now it's just fucking cool😎.

Well done friend

Did you use an arduino pro micro to run it?

It makes me actually really happy to see a TikTok video here on YouTube that has been uploaded by the original creator.

What's software you use for programing the adruino?

So does the software run through each row and column to find which two are connected, then finds the button coordinate from there?

This would not make a very good midi controller

But how would you assign each button to a MIDI channel?

But why go through all that effort... and use the cheap button switches? At least use soft membrane buttons.

A tv remote has better key feel than those cheap switches. Why cheap out
