As this is a top bee space hive, when you add a conventional bottom bee space super have you not created a double bee space between the two? Could you add a plastic QE between the two to manage this and separate the two bee spaces or am I over- thinking?

If you add one more frame in the super, you won't have more honey.
The only thing you will have is one more frame to extract (and the extra time it take).

Comment about not using varroa board when in use is debatable. In the wild, bees would never have that amount of ventilation. They prefer humid conditions which Varroa dislike. Varroa love cool dry places so by leaving board off increase of them could happen.

It is a Polish hive made by company called Lyson. It has been around for years in this state. And abelo didn't created it or done any R&D. But it must be British thing to steal technology and pass it on as thier own!!!

Its a shame they dont make a Commercial brood box with all the other parts remaining National, because they dont produce the Commercial brood box i will NOT being buying this hive will spend my money on Maisemore Poly Hives instead.
