Just finished another personal reading today. Here are a couple of other simple three card draw tarot readings good for beginners:

1. Release (what to let go of), Receive (what to accept), Advice (clarity)
2. Inside (what's going on inside me), Outside (what is going on outside me), Advice (clarity)
3. You (what's up with the other person), Me (what's up with me), We (us together)
4. Pros (pluses), Cons (minuses), Advice (clarity)

And one four card draw - Think (What is guiding my underlying thoughts), Feel (my feelings), Say (How I am speaking in terms of both my inner and outer voice), Do (The actions I am taking). These four elements are not always in alignment so this reading helps you understand the full range of influences around a particular item in your life. Sometimes we don't say what we feel or find conflict between how we feel vs what we think we should do etc.

I do use the Past, Present, Future with Oracle Cards which I mainly use, but I am going to have to try laying them all out face down so I can work on them one at a time.

I just did my first ever reading (it was just for myself) using this method and your question and I think that it went well! Pretty accurate so obviously I’m slightly terrified 😝 I got 2 of cups for past, 5 of wands for present, and wheel of fortune for future ☺️ I love your videos and find them so helpful! On my very first reading ever, I got a 3 of swords, 10 of swords and the fool. I broke up with my ex who absued and used me and got clean after 4 to 7 years only 2 years ago. I've been searching for something new to add to my life and a new beginning in something. Anything. I may be getting a new job and I'm searching for simply MORE in my life.

I usually do a 3 card spread, past present and future, but sometimes if I need more clarity, I will draw 3 more below the card that I'm struggling to understand. Based on how the cards relate to each other, I make my interpretation. I usually do this with oracle cards, but I am trying to get back into Tarot. Good exercise for my brain.

I did a three-card spread using the Thoth deck. The cards said I would undergo sever financial hardship.
I nearly became homeless.
But I'm alright now.
The Thoth deck is somewhat skewed to Thelema, but it works so well some people are afraid of it.

the three card spread is the best and easiest fast and dirty spread. I usally do a five card, the three card with 2 more for the highest hope and the thing to most watch out for.

Yup! That is a basic pattern I've used for many years. My major pattern is the Celtic Cross. These two do all I need. 🙂 But at one time I was using Five different Deck's together at the same time..!😅 One for each of the elements and the Rider deck at the center in the C' Cross the unify the whole thing.. [man, that took time to read!..] My concepts were if I had more than two cards of 'A Suit' then that was the guiding element. And if I had three or more of the "Major's" then the situation was out of the hands of the questioner. Divine power's were at play.
