Listening to this song, I saw a movie in my mind's eyes of a Nigerian living comfortably abroad, but can't shake away the pain in his heart for the ruins of his beloved country. Deep inside, he knows he has something to offer but is struggling with the thoughts of leaving comfort and safety. I see him packing his bags and smiling as he goes into that return flight home. I see him waving and smiling through the window as the flight takes off. I see that day, not too far away, when Nigerians in diaspora will joyfully sing the I'm going home part of this song and radio stations will play it over and over within one day. As a long time fan since Amazing Voices (which you should have won), I am always amazed by your dedication to excellence. You sound like actual angels! I have been playing this song on repeat for the past two days and i cant get over it. I have a different interpretation of the message though. For me home is being in complete communion with the Lord. Being at that point where I am tree planted by the streams of living water and bearing fruit. Home is living out the life he purposed for me.
