What a wonderful insight. How do you describe the genius of a guy like Nikola Tesla in terms of a consumer

I would like to point out a very important distinction. The tool and how its setup and used. We have been working on computer voice commands since before any of the companies involved were even founded. Don't confuse the tool with its application.

Hey, Bret and Heather. Another great discussion. Question: You talk toward the end about people failing to make a positive dent in the world, so just being “consumers”. I get it. At the same time, it seems like many of the SJW’s feel they need to make an urgent dent in the world, so get way over their skis in terms of activism. It seems that some sort of calibration is missing— i.e. letting kids know they need to build knowledge and wisdom so THEY END UP making a dent in the world. Make sense?

The illusion of perpetual economic growth is based on a dissociated psychological aspect which is still an infant and, jusk like them, they need to grow. A sustainable, mature economic paradigm would be Balance and hence, consummerism wouldn´t have a place to be. Unfortunately consumism is the force driven by such dissociated behaviour.

I hate how y'all keep saying "woke ideology", conflating it with CRT.

CRT has been around since the eighties. People started wearing "woke" t-shirts around 2017. This is another example of academic weirdos reappropriating black terms and giving these "theories" hip-hop names.

I remember when people started saying "woke". All it meant was, "I'm reading more about my history and culture, I'm taking pride in my heritage, I'm being pro-active in current events, and Im ridding my life of stereotypical behavior and negative energy.

But just like hip-hop and garage bands, once an idea hits mainstream, academics start theorizing it and complicating it with complex formulas it until you feel like you're in the "A Beautiful Mind" movie. Then comes the counter argument by a bunch of career students and academics who have spent most of their lives in school settings with kids and not in the real world!
