Taylor Swift Doesn't Like Tina Fey and Amy Poehler

Taylor Swift hates Tina Fey and Amy Poehler and their beef started all the way back at the 70th Annual Golden Globes in 2017. During the show, Amy joked about Taylor dating history and breaking up with men just to write songs about them. But it didn’t stop there, Tina then joked about Taylor only dating famous guys and so she should avoid most of the men at the ceremony. Tina and Amy bantered back and forth as the audience laughed. Most people saw the jokes as harmless but Taylor didn’t see it that way. She made her opinions known in a magazine article and fired shots at Amy and Tina. Taylor said she was just a woman writing about her feelings and didn’t appreciate being portrayed as clingy or desperate. Taylor also said that there’s a special place in hell for women who don’t help other women. Amy responded and said she was a feminist and thought Taylor was talented. Then in 2020, Taylor and Amy presented the Golden Globe for Best Animated Motion Picture together. They didn’t address the beef directly on stage but the awkwardness between them made it clear they were trying to move past it.

Everyone acts like Taylor is the only one writing about her relationship experiences… when almost every single artists does the exact same thing. It is so WEIRD to me that it’s only ever a problem for Taylor. I think it’s out of pure envy that she is as insanely successful as she is. It’s always been a trend to hate on Taylor. It’s always been nasty behavior to do so. You don’t have to like her or her music but the trash talking about the content of her art… is so weird & so hypocritical. Nearly EVERY artist writes about love & heartbreak, hardly any of them are able to add the storytelling element to it the way Taylor does.

An awful lot of people that have actual relationships with Taylor say that she is a very troubled and a difficult person. Maybe with all her millions she can afford a psychiatrist to help her. People who think everyone else is the problem, usually are themselves. I wish her much help.
